Effective: 2026-08-24 · Applies to the LetsLearn Android app (com.ruicodex.letslearn), published by RuiCodex.
LetsLearn is a vocabulary flashcard app. This page explains what data the app processes, why, and what you can do about it.
| Data | When | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password | If you create an account | Signing you in and keeping your progress across devices. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash, never as plain text. |
| Display name | Optional | Shown on your profile. |
| An app-generated device identifier | If you use the app as a guest | Keeping a guest session and its progress without an account. |
| Learning progress | While you study | Your language pair, level, daily goal, answers, favourites, streaks and study time — this is what spaced repetition schedules from. |
| Search terms | When you search the dictionary | Sent to the server only to filter the list; not stored. |
| Purchase token and order ID | If you buy Premium or Remove ads | Verifying the purchase with Google Play and unlocking what you paid for. We never see your card details. |
The free version shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK collects and shares with Google the advertising ID of your device, an approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), you are asked for consent before any ad is requested. Ads are not shown with an active Premium subscription or the one-time Remove ads purchase.
Your account and progress are stored on our server and transmitted over HTTPS. A copy of your session is cached on your device so the app can open without a network.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Delete your account any time in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account) or via the page below; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. → Delete your account
LetsLearn is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.
Depending on where you live (GDPR, KVKK and similar laws), you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing. Write to info@ruicodex.com; we answer within 30 days.
If this policy changes materially, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
